Redstone Mill - Some technical information if interested
Redstone Mill - Some technical information if interested I am a long time share holder significantly invested in GWA. I'm very excited about this project. I am a mechanical engineer working for a large cap mining company. I read an overview of the Redstone mill process flowsheet on the Sunmining website.
From what I read they have some good equipment in the Redstone Mill. The Metso HP cone crusher is an industry standard with parts and service readily available. The ball mills are Dominion Engineering which is a company that was Purchased by Metso. Dominion Engineering designed very reliable and robust mills. The filter at the end of the process is a Larox. Larox was purchased by Outotec. Pressure filters are somewhat troublesome pieces of equipment. The advantage of the Larox is they are operator friendly. They tend to be heavier on the maintenance side but if operated properly they will serve us very well in removing moisture from the finished product at the milling level.
So overall I am pleased with what I see based on the limited details available. The flowsheet looks to be well thought out and should serve us very well to process the Bradsaw ore. I have reached out to the management team at Gowest and will work on getting more details on the mechanical side of this project. As I learn more about this exciting project I will share these details with this group.
