RE:Happened before

RE:Happened beforeI would like to think that we are going to get a better offer. Frankly, I can't see how an independnet  committe who will assess the offer could possiblely recomned that shareholders accept an offer below the book value of the company. Weas shareholders need to stick together and send the company a clear message in this regard.

Like you I have been a longtime sharholder of BOX, and many of the other Brookfield entities. My plan is to reinvest the BOX proceeds into Brookfield Properties. I think that BPYis undervalued, also trading below book value, and has a number of new income producing assets in development that will be coming online over the course of the next few years. The dividend on BPY was just increased and I think the outlook is positive with minimal downside. Plus a 5% dividend to enjoy along the way.
