ProMIS Neurosciences Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. It is focused on generating and developing antibody therapeutics selectively targeting toxic misfolded proteins in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and multiple system atrophy (MSA). PMN442 is a drug candidate being developed for MSA designed to selectively target and protect against pathogenic a-syn species.

I don't think so. This statement also appears in the PP announcement from last Feb and I find it in news releases from other companies too.

I think it's simply a standard statement saying that it (the PP) can't be sold in the USA unless certain exemptions are met. I do not think these expemptions are being sought either. I have no specific information about this, just my opinion. I think it's just "legalese", probably of no importance.
