I replied to your inbox in a more detailed manner.  I thought I would reply (more briefly) on the blog also, so blog readers can see - and put closure to this topic.

As you noted, there was a paragraph in the Q3`16 MD&A report.  Kootenay decided not to option into the any of the Pan American exploration properties.

As noted in my inbox reply to you, it is my opinion that the communication was poor.  In addition to the MD&A note, they should have included at least a (standard) one line explanation on one of Kootenay`s news releases. 

Clear communication and transparency goes a long way towards gaining respect and trust.  The vast majority of junior companies in the space fail.  Kootenay`s management needs to do far better than what I have seen thus far, if it truly wants to be a leader in the space (which is the profile it sold to the public originally, when it merged with Northair).
