I think the country is much bigger than just some local residents which their voice am sure is also appreciated. Kenyan government needs oil and needs gas because of local consumption first which is imported which means higher cost to the local. Also jobs will be create on the back of this industry due to infrastructure and manufacturing industry. Kenya is set to be the Hun for oil exports in east Africa as well as the financial centre.
