It is often a contra-indicator for me. For example. I have traded in and out of Ten Peaks Coffee. TPK had a run-up late last year and the TR "score" improved", yet since it did so the stock has fallen back 15-20%. I'm sure after the next quarterly report TPK's TR score will fall as the trailing indicators will likely be weaker. I will probably buy back in at that point.
As for INP...TR's "report" does indicate that 6 analysts have a consensus BUY recommedation.
I also note that MSN money currently shows 4 analyst ratings for the stock: 3 Strong Buys and 1 buy. NO holds or sells.
Average 12-month target price of $2.70.
But be my guest...sell on the panicky posts of an obvious shorter.
