Closing part of "Resavica" next month, preparing the conditions for the departure. Unions: Pre cancellation is necessary systematization of jobs
Four miners mine "Resavica", "Vrka Cuka", "Bogovina", "Jasenovac" and "Ibar mines," March will be offered a social program - to leave the company. According to the agreement with the IMF and the budget for 2017 envisages that these four coal mines shut down this year, and for the first phase has been allocated 600 million dinars.
The next month will be crucial for "Resavica", and therefore it will be selected on March 5, the official director of the mine, as a candidate, among others, reported, and the current Acting Stevan Delatovi.
- When doing the closure of four mines, about 1,500 people will be excess - says Delatovi. - For them, but also for other workers "Resavica" who are interested to leave the company, we will offer severance pay and conditions we prepare together with the ministries of finance and energy. Trade unions will be involved in this process. When we see how many people registered, we will be able to make a further plan.
Trade unionists from the mine say they were not informed that already in March to get a proposal from the social program.
- The prerequisite for leaving the people is to make job classification, and so i know how many people need to remain when the mines closed - explains Nebojsa Milenkovic, President of Trade Union "Resavica". - The only thing that we offered the middle of last year is 200 euros per year of service, what can not agree.
The Government of Serbia has announced a public competition for the Director of Public company for underground coal exploitation "Resavica" for a period of four years - pre for nearly a year. Tender was published on 31 March 2016, or a competition, like most other calls for directors of other public companies, has been postponed. According to the Law on Public Enterprises, which was adopted at the end of February last year, tenders must be completed within one year of the adoption of the law. Thus the state will, in the case of "Resavica", the deadline for a few days break.
- I hope to be elected - says the current acting director of the mine. - As far as I know, there are at least five other candidates, but conditions were harsh.
