Unfortunately the dilution train has already left the station. In 2000 there were 24m shares outstanding, in 2005 there were about 80m shares outstanding. Today there are about 220m shares outstanding (with pretty much nothing to show for it). It's OK to look at historical market caps but I am more concerned with the share price. In 2006 the trading range was $0.53 to $1.63. In 2011 the range was $0.52 to $1.52. We know where the stock has traded the past 2 years, it's come off the historic lows but the upside might be muted because of dilution, both current and future. Let's hope the debt financing will NOT be some sort of onerous silver streaming arrangement but judging by how management has been constantly going off track (Newfoundland, Vatukoula) these past years, it's best to think they will do what's worst for shareholders.
