Kamoa/Kakula did not exist and because of a lack of exploration success in the DRC up to 2013 there was little hope for an earthshaking discovery. Now we have this significant discovery that will provide the needed copper to meet the projectd consumption at a unit cost that truly shakes the boot of the not yet in construction projects in Peru and Chile. There is no need for Ivanhoe to do more than keep working towards production as the market will devour whatever is produced and because of the concentrate grade it will command a premium to the conventional 24-27% concentrates from the typical poryphry or VMS producers.
