The flipping of holdings is meant to stimulate volume, nothing more. They certainly don't make a profit on the holdings themselves because they never develop them, ie Willa/Max. People buy the stock and then get dumped on when they aren't expecting it. News never comes about development on the projects that supposedly will one day "produce". It's always surprise acquisitions because dumb*ss traders who have never been in a mine in their life think that means something in this business. My bet is that none of MXL's current holdings will ever produce, with the exception of maybe magistral but even then margins will be so tight as to be untenable. Not a paid basher, never have been.
