That very town founded by Scottish Highlanders who emigrated there in the 1830’s and whose residents even today celebrate Burn’s birthday, and are to be seen late into
the evening of Jan. 25th falling off their seats and onto the floor from too much haggis washed down by copious amounts of single malt ‘midst the raucous din of the pipes.  Or where occasionally some are moved to stand on the Post Office steps and casually recite large tracts of the bard’s poetry to the…… disinterested whomever.
