He may have missed the boat. The adage of buy on rumour and sell on news is definitely true with this stock. Example was that he could have sold at $13 just before close, wait for the announcement, and put a limit order at $12 or lower. The problem is that he isn't a trader as much as he is an investor and is long with a target price of $50. There is a chance that he sells and that it climbs up and if he wants back in it will not be as cheap. If he were to do some speculative short term trading, he should do it with a percentage of his shares, like 41K, leaving 100K with a sell order at $50. Obviously he knows what he is doing, all the best to all of you, shorters and longs, as long as it is volatile, all can profit.
