I have to think that with 50%+ a yes vote is all but certain.  80%+ of the remaining shares would have to vote no....far from likely where retail is concerned IMO.  I wonder what non voting shares are deemed - yes, no or not counted?

With 6 million shares purchased today at and over $3.29 and another 7,500 lots on the bid at close, the cynic in me says that the yes side is adding to their pots (is that allowed at this stage?).

So a rival bid would have to be unsolicited...a possibility if for no other reason than to spend more of paypal's money.
