Holes BA03-14 and BA03-16 intersected strongly anomalous gold and arsenic over broad widths, but individual assays were all less than two grams per tonne gold. Hole BA03-18 intersected a new gold zone (7.3 grams per tonne gold over 0.7 metre) in intensely altered siltstone/greywacke 30 to 40 metres below Bazooka's main mineralized zone. The new zone varies in width from two metres to six metres and is open in all directions. Hole BA04-23 was drilled 200 metres west of the BA03-18 intersection and successfully intersected the same zone along strike, where it appears to widen to the west and at depth. Assays for this hole are pending. BA03-15 was abandoned in deep overburden. Assays from holes BA04-19 to BA04-23 are still pending. The results from the recently completed program will be integrated with the historic drilling and an airborne magnetics and electromagnetic survey completed by Lake Shore Gold, in November, 2003, in order to select further exploration drill targets designed to better establish the strike extent and geometry of the mineralized zone.
