RE:RE:Avivagen Inc. Announces Results for the Quarter Ending JanuaI'll give you guys something to pick apart. After reading this last MD&A and some research in Avivagen media website postings Here's what I understand now that we have the numbers. I'm no accountant, just "chicken feed" investor..(pardon the pun) trying to understand the big picture.
According to Avivagen media release the Unahco order of 150kg will supplement feed for 3 Million chickens. The sale reported in this last news release $65000.00 works out to 2.1 cent per chicken raised if I understand this properly. After deducting cost of goods  .7 of a cent leaves 1.4 cents per chicken. Avivagen also reported a 4 Million plus burn rate. OxC appears to sell for 433.00 per kg. with a cost  35%  leaving around 260./ kg So sales need to ramp up to around 14000  Kg per year to overcome burn rate. That's enough additive to feed 280 million chickens. As expressed in the MD&A it is imperative to secure business in many other countries to overcome the burn rate.
