2017/18 Could Well be Interesting for Us

2017/18 Could Well be Interesting for UsHey Mates,

I understand the frustration of many on our board.  We'd all like to see more action to the upside, in line with what we were used to when MPV was just a spec stock going thro its exploration and development phases.  However our company is now a producer, and we can expect our JV to be at least an intermediate producer within the next 2 years.

For those wanting lots of NRs, keep in mind that this approach suits spec stocks, but not producers.  Pick any of the intermediate-to-major mining concerns - FR, AEM, ABX etc.- and you'll find that NRs are only issued when there are material changes in management, corporate structure or financials. A lack of NRs these days doesn't really concern me, as I look at the broader picture, and realize how fortunate I've been with MPV so far, and where we're heading going forward.

This morning I had a chance to review the financials of DDC, which holds partial interests in both Ekati and Diavik.  A thought crossed my mind. I could envision a play by DDC for MPV on a 1:2 share basis sometime in the next 12 mos.  It's not beyond the realm of possibility.  An excellent match for both!  That would be a home run, not only for DDC but for those of us who are MPVD shareholders.

In any event I'm in no rush to lighten my position.  Hell, our story is just beginning, and I've the patience of jobe.  Something positive to think about when we talk about " ...the glass being ..." !

Blue skies ahead!!

Cheers,

Brit
