I get that you think the very mention of the SDI means it is potentially still in play. Sure, maybe. Who knows... However, I think it's underhanded and deceptive of them to put "SDI Update" in the title of this NR then all we get is "no further developments.." That's not a fvcking update. That's a non-update. You can bet your ^ss there have been "further developments" since July 2016 on this matter, obviously not a closing and apparently nothing they are legally-obligated to report but "something" is going on whether they tell us as much or not. Is that "something" that it has been postponed indefinitely? Again who knows... But promising an update in the title then, "Oh, sorry nothing to report." That's just bullshhit.

I'm also not sure how much confidence is inspired by an announcement that they're basically doubling the share count via a rights offering but have no news to support the SP. The first NR about the Congo SDI was June 2015, almost two years ago, then they went completely silent about it a year later in July 2016 when it still had not closed. No updates since. No $12 Million down payment. I consider the Congo SDI dead without some evidence to the contrary, which has not been forthcoming.

Begging door to door with this "play or pay" (participate or get diluted) rights offering does not bode well, imo.
