So how about this, Osisko, who is in the mood of having a fat bank account and tossing money at acquisitions (having just purchased a silver royalty for $33M) would be willing to drop (according to your math) about $15million with upfront and future commitment, for a 50/50 JV? Are they not already throwing down a 400 000m drill campaign at their Windfall Lake property?
200 000m alone would be HUGE! Why wouldn't they skip the shinanigans play hardball with the other bidders, buy the Trove property outright for $30-$50 million, split the drill campaign to prove up Trove, keep the ounces all for themselves (assiming, conservatively speaking 1M of them at today's prices is over half a $billion), mine both and Durango can go drill the snot out of their other properties proving yo resources, with money in hand at the end of the day?
