And if you think it does you must be American living in the center of the universe. If trump made MJ illegal and enforced at the federal US level. What does that mean for CANADA federal level? Nothing. Not a single thing would change from today. Can trump stop Americans from entering canada to smoke MJ? No. Can he stop Canadians from entering the US? Sure. They already do. Saying I smoked MJ and being stoned as a kite are 2 different things. Those reports you see of Canadians being denied entry to the US never seem to state that the person in question was carrying MJ or was already stoned. I see you're pessimistic point of view, but MJ is going to be legal recreational. Either late 2017 or mid 2018 it's going to happen. You cannot run a massive deficit and make taxpayers foot the bill. It's going to come from somewhere. And that somewhere is Marijuana. If he doesn't make it happen. He wont survive the next election. And he knows
Wow, that was a tangent. All I'm saying is there are big challenges ahead for legalizing rec use and several international treaties which need to be ratified to allow it. I was an original investor in Tweed, and another company which Tweed acquired (MedCann Access) and have participated in several other financings for Aphria, Mettrum, Hemisphere, and Tinley, and have a stake in a private holding company for MJ investments. I believe rec will come, but it's 2 or 3 years from producing any meaningful revenue for any of the LP's. At this point all the rec focussed company's don't have the fundamentals to support their valuations. No need for CMED to finance to go build out a huge facility at this point in time, they can build when they need to or pick up one up for cheap in the future when they need to.
