The trading was so irrational and with high volume that I did not have a chance to collect enough proof for my own satisfaction to state that it was indeed manipulation. Also, it was unexpected and I did not spend sufficient time on it to be sure of anything. That was the situation until about 2;00pm. Now I have to agree with you. Still, it could be that long term buyers are in control of the game. If so; it still would be manipulation but it would not be as harmful as the old way of getting contineously in and out. As for a take over: This does not always help because there is also something called "unfriendly take-over" which occurs when the buyer can buy enough shares on the open market to gain control. It is not likely to happen with AVO because insiders own a substantial portion of the shares and I guess AF would not sell his shares under $50.00, not even now but much less later. So, one way or the other the price is going up but not necessarily with the speed we expected after a great period.
