Yes, I'm gambling on a penny stock but I only invested 2000 shares for  a couple hundred USD. Osisko private placement shares won't be in the trading float for a few months and the flow through shares at $.25 CAD comes  later also.  All in all, the expanded M&I resources, additional exploration potential, institutional and corporate ownership for an 11 cent stock look like a good bet to me.

As of October, 2016 

Institutonal shares held and % shares outstanding       77,099,660  27.62%
Mutual Fund shares held and % shares outstanding    26,442,492    9.48%

Also from the January 2017 corporate presentation it looks like institutions have bought in even more than what is reported by the Wall Street Journal.  I need to call IDM to get clarification.
