Abcourt Mines Inc. is a Canadian gold exploration company with properties located in northwestern Quebec, Canada. The Company owns the Sleeping Giant mine and mill, where it focuses its development activities. The Sleeping Giant Property is located half-way between Amos and Matagami, in Abitibi, Quebec, in the territory covered by the Plan Nord of the Quebec government. It comprises four mining leases covering an area of approximately 458 hectares and 69 mining claims. The Elder mine and the Tagami property are located 10 kilometers (km) northwest of the mining community of Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec. The properties include over 36 contiguous claims, one mining concession and two mining leases. The Abcourt-Barvue property is located 12 km north of Barraute, 60 km north of the mining community of Val-d’Or, Quebec. It covers over 4,755 hectares with 103 claims and two mining concessions. Its properties also include Flordin, Pershing-Manitou, Vendome, Aldermac, Jonpol and other properties.

15 aout 2016Des le mois d'aout 2016, M.Hinse avait prevu des pertes de 2.5 millions $ pour la premiere annee d'operation du moulin Geant Dormant. Il semble qu'il reussira a faire mieux. Bravo.

Et dans l'article, il parle de 100 000 tonnes de minerai 12.5-13 gr tonne encore present dans le fond de la mine Geant Dormant. C'est 2 fois la concentration de Elder. Donc tres rentable. Cela represente environ 70 millions $ recuperables en a peu pres un an d'exploitation tout en poursuivant les travaux a Elder. Combien de profit possible... je ne sais pas.

Esperons qu'il pourra rouvrir la mine bientot et a peu de frais.

Je crois toujours en cette compagnie, mais le chemin est difficile.

Pour Barvue, le prix du zinc se maintient aux alentours de $2 800 la tonne depuis la fin janvier, le projet devient tres rentable a cette fouchette de prix. Mais tres difficile de negocier avec un partenaire (plan A) qui voit la situation financiere actuelle de Abcourt qui devient une proie plus qu'un partenaire dans ces conditions a mon avis.
Il faut que le partenaire potentiel croit en la possibilit de Abcourt de partir le projet seul.

Voila pourquoi je pense qu'il faut ouvrir la mine Geant Dormant afin de degager des liquidites suffisantes pour une mise de fond necessaire a l'obtention d'un financement potentiel d'un groupe financier (plan B).
