RE:RE:I hope multi-dollars level before taking overI have to disagree on that. Microsoft is a prime example of a tech company that has bought out many small companies for their technology, well before said companies turned a profit.
Bigger players are looking for quick ways to add value and differentiate their products from competitors all the time. One of the big Ultrasound players (some of them being Siemens, Philips, GE, Toshiba) would absolutely buy this company for the technology because it let their sales people go in to cardiac facilities with a patented, FDA approved, Health Canada approved value-add proposition that offers a cheaper alternative to MRI.
Bear in mind that regulatory approvals take quite a while if you are Ventripoint or if you are GE. If a large player wants to get a jump on the competition, I think they would absolutely buy a proven-FDA tech that gives them a competitive edge and lets them up-sell their existing Ultrasound equipment.
Ventripoint should obviously still be going to be marketing their product, instead of just waiting for a takeout. However, they are a definite target IMO.
