I am very glad you posted this - I had noticed the apparent cancellation of JE shares shown on Canadian Insider [https://www.canadianinsider.com/company?menu_tickersearch=je], but was not certain if this was truly a share buyback, or related to some of the debenture issues.

Your clarification is really helpful, and the timing of the approx. 350,000 share cancellation, is logical with the shares going ex-dividend in a few days. It suggests the company views its shares as substantially undervalued, and bodes well for us 'longs' over the next few months and years.
