More on Integra from core shack ! Another long day at the PDAC, got to meet up with Herve Thiboutote and two other Geo / Tech people from Integra. Today was very informative as they had cores from the Triangle Zone C2 Zone. ( And yes I touched them)
blue they explained the drilling at the #4 plug, and my apology if I mislead anyone here. They have lined up the C4, C5 veins from the Triangle Zone through the #4 plug but everything outside the #4 plug to the Triangle Zone is void of gold all the mineralization is contained within the #4 plug all the shear veins extending north from the #4 plug are also void of gold also.
The reason why many of the assays from the #4 plug could not be used in the 43-101 resource update was because of the amount of magnetite in the drill cores and when they tried model this in 3D, the amount of magnetite made everything unusable. Now what they are using is a Gyro that is giving them better orientation of where these shear zones (all mineralized) and flats that run through the #4 plug. After all is said and done the #4 plug will be part of a mine plan.
The Gold Rush #1 (Toyota) target !
I was getting worried there was something wrong here with the assays taking so long, another Donald Zone ?
They explained all the focus is on the Triangle Zone in order to guide the ramp to where they will be taking the bulk samples.
Also Integra has contracted another smaller lab to help do the this assaying. Herve assured me there was nothing wrong with the assays and he would like to get these assays out as soon a possible.
A little more on the LD pilot hole
They are not using wedges to start the sister holes,,, this is now all turned into very precise work.
1 They did not want to chance loosing the hole by putting in metal wedges so they are using high pressure water jets in order to start the sister hole off in exactly the right direction then start drilling the sister hole,, they keep using this word “Right Orientation to the target” being very important.
It all sounds like they are using some fairly high tech equipment here !
Herve’s big presentation tomorrow !
I had to kid Herve,, the PDAC said it would cost me $160 if I wanted to get in to see Herve’s presentation,, this comes under the Technical Program,, I told Herve I wiped out my card and told them it’s worth every cent to see Herve’s presentation.
