RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NEWS: Pebble Partnership Retains Lead Regulatory ConsultantThe EPA fisaco? So in your mind, it's management's fault that the EPA decided to pre-emptive veto and had they "managed" properly as you would have, there would be no EPA issues?
I was hoping to learn something useful from hearing the bearish perspective. But it just seems like you are really reaching to spin things in a negative light.
I don't know anything about HDR's quality of work so cannot comment. Maybe HDR is just the lead consultant, but there could be other consultants that specialize in certain aspects. Or perhaps they took HDR because HDR has offices in Alaska and the move would be seen as employing local Alaskans and good for PR and gain favor with the state and its citizens. Whereas hiring the world's best mining consultants out of...I dunno...British Columbia, Canada and moving them over to Alaska would lessen their chances of gaining approval.

However, there are much better mining engineering and environmental companies to use. Much better. Regarding your list of Ron T's mining contributions, you only provide projects names and not specifically was performed or accomplished. Ron T. is a major reason this project has been mismanaged including their "EPA permitting" effort. Looks like HDR was involved with that fiasco.
Lets not loose site of the fact NDM has mismanaged as is evident by the EPA fiasco, unwillingness to initiate NEPA, lack of publically disclosed feasibility, their abhorrent PR, and complete lack of meaningful project advancement. It has been 9-years and look at where they are at, just starting, with a $2 stock.
