Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:rec just announced - live news

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:rec just announced - live newsIt was was nothing new, but there was a certain tone to the article that was suggestive of bad news. The part that specifically grinded my gears was the mention that "delays in recreational could result in a huge supply with lack of demand, causing expired supply". This suggests that LPs would grow to capacity as soon as they can even if there's no market for it, resulting in throwing away expired product. Literally throwing away money. You would have to be pretty dumb to grow to capacity if you knew there was only a demand for half of what you were growing. Dumb-dumbs took it to heart.
