Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Aphria is the new king of mjCareful with that mentality. I got burned pretty badly investing in CMM because Aphria bought a pretty big stake in them (17% now I think?). Needless to say, I'm glad I sold 3 months ago at a sizeable loss, because right now I'd be losing my shirt.

That is not to say that CMM does not have a future, it might just need some time for the market to understand the value they are adding to the medical field.

All in all, sometimes even multimillion dollar companies make investments that have not paid off on paper. Currently, that is the case with APH's shares in CMM.

Good deals this week. Wish I had more money -- but it takes money to make money.
