RE:My definition of long ...
RE:My definition of long ...If your end goal is to own part of a sucessful company that is the same as someone with a defined exit strategy (which is smart investing- you must admit as an investor you have to have a plan!) In all definitions of long our objectives are aligned who cares if you want the warm fuzzies or if someone else wants cold logic to dictate their portfolio? Anyone long in your definition or the typical definition both want to pick a winner and make money! You can watch companies grow for free. This is investing! (Specualting maybe as some would say hehe)
It's all good and all long! We shall all party together, in spirit at least, when RGX shoots to the moon! Even if some of 'us' are robots and spreadsheets LOL.
Most of us (including me) want what you want-the journey and pride of supporting a great company to grow. Either way it's good to know that 10mm more shares are out of circulation.
Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, its awesome news.
I've been long RGX in your sense since 2013/2014 too. Very much want them to succeed and thrive. The long long. But an exit stratgey got me out at 0.25 (after an ugly attempt to catch the falling knife) and back in at 0.06. So having some rules can be a good idea. To each thier own but we all want the same thing in the end. Enough profit to celebrate with fine scotch if we want it. One must give some kind of a sh!t to put their money down and play the game. Doens't matter why if we all want the same thing.
