A2 zone 50 cubic meters OK this is finally it. It's like trying to solve a tough crossword. Although pitchblende UO2 has an s.g. of 10.96 (it varies in a range), we know that U3O8 has an s.g. of 8.3.
164,900,000 lb of 18.84% U3O8 weighs 74,797,382 kg
74,797,382 kg / 8,300 kg/m3 = 9,012 m3
entire high grade zone consists of 400,000 tonnes. This means the host basement gneiss weighs 325,157 tonnes. I'll assign an s.g. for granodioritic gneiss of around 2.78.
325,157 tonnes / 2.78 s.g. = 116,963 m3
116,963 m3 gneiss + 9,012 m3 U3O8 = 123,925 m3 for the entire A2 high grade shear zone.
that is equal to a cube 50.1 m3. So, we're still looking at a very tiny area. Of course the high grade zone is not a cube, but it does provide a sense of proportion. Drilling here is kind of like threading the needle. Just a few meters either way, and you can miss the biggest uranium target of your life.
