Now, for those of you who may be unfamiliar with how to calculate BookValue, it is actually quite a simple matter to accomplish. You simply take the total assets and subtract from there the total liabilities and voila you get Book Value or another term used for this is Total Equity. You can find the total assets, total debt and total equity on the sedar financials.

Take further note that Amaya has goodwill and intangibles showing to be 4,623,345,000 U.S. dollars, that their total debt shows to be 3,562,387,000 U.S. dollars and that their total book value or total equity shows to be 2,020,410,000 U.S. dollars. 

Continue on further if you must by checking out more of NYX's peers and competitions SEDAR financials to get an idea that in fact the above Book Value per share of 2.45 for NYX is indeed correct.
