Over the years the Thall's have reduced their B shares by about 800,000 shares, but no one has gone to the well with A shares in their bucket and all of the other transaction appear to be housekeeping measures at best.
When you look at the collection of families associated with each of the Voting Trust it is hard to discern how you would ever herd all of these cats towards any kind of coherent decision about anything. None of them can be happy about the severe erosion in both the value of their shares and the dividend income. Some may hold a nostalgic affection for the Atkinson Principles, but much time has elapsed that makes them far less relevant in 2017.
Perhaps the sale of 1.7 million shares by the Campbell family has to be a sign of something, but until it is disclosed who the shares were sold to it will remain a mystery.
