Australie : ses écouteurs prennent feu dans l’avionAlors qu’elle ecoute de la musique dans l’avion, une jeune australienne entend une violente explosion. Se retournant brusquement pour identifier la provenance de la detonation, elle est prise d’une vive brulure au cou et au visage. Elle realise que ses ecouteurs sans fil ont pris feu et les jette terre.

Pour l’ATSB, l’explosion est probablement due a la batterie lithium-ion utilisee par les ecouteurs sans fil de la jeune femme. Le bureau conseille de laisser les appareils a batterie en soute s’ils ne sont pas utilises.
