Tinka Resources Limited is a Canada-based exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties located in Peru. The Company’s flagship property is Ayawilca Zinc-Silver-tin project, located 200 kilometers (km) northeast of Lima, in the Pasco region of central Peru. The Ayawilca Zinc-Silver project is located 40 km northwest of the Cerro de Pasco mine (copper-zinc-lead-silver), and 100 km south of the giant Antamina mine (copper-zinc). Its Silvia Project consists of 16 granted concessions for 10,906 hectares, located in the Department of Huanuco in central Peru. The project lies approximately 80 km south and along strike of Antamina. The Company has also granted with two mining concessions totaling 1,200 hectares, namely Pampahuasi Property. The Colquipucro silver Zone is located 1.5 km north of the Ayawilca Zinc Zone.

This will be a major zinc play ...

Read this Seeking Alpha article and sounds like not a lot of deep mining is involved and once the inferred becomes indicated or measured, this will be a major zinc play. Hopefully something untouched by Glencore. And better yet that SA article was written a month before the new results at Ayawilca South zone were announced.

That drill hole just set such a positive tone. I mean they are 2% into the drilling season (by meters drilled) and we are on the good stuff. Very intriguing. Can't wait to see the rest of the first hole. Some Tin at the bottom would be nice. Want to add some more shares, hoping for a pullback after Friday but if the remainder of the 12-56 hole results comes back early this coming week with some tin under the zinc I fear the second stage will stay lit. LOL, Perhaps results leaked Friday. That second rig should be "turning to the right" right now also at Aya south.
