RE:RE:RE:FYI only..

RE:RE:RE:FYI only..Yes, the liquids will be absorbed into the blood stream much faster than solid edibles.

Most of the absorbtion happens in the small intestines, the stomach needs to churn and break down the solids before it enters this part of the digestive tract. Liquids on the other hand do not need mechanical breakdown, therefore it passes the stomach much faster. Furthermore solids need to be broken down into smaller lipid molecule small enough that it can be absorbed through the intestinal walls, liquids on the other hand come ready to be absorbed.

Another factor will be the concentration of THC, the more concentrated the sooner you will feel the effect.

I would be surprised if you can't feel tinley 27 within 10-15 minutes on an empty stomach, given they make the concentration high enough.

You want the THC to take affect fast, this is the beauty of the product, so that consumers can enjoy it right away in a social setting. In general, the more lag there is between ingestion and feeling the effect, the more risk of drinking too much. I can see restaurants welcoming this product as well, to boost their customer's appetite by 10 fold.

My take on guidelines for ingesting THC is that they will leave it mostly up to the consumer. They don't have hard written guidelines for ingesting alcohol or tabaco, they have DUI limits but governments never dictate how much you can ingest at a given time.

What they will likely have is a concentration marked on the bottle so consumers can pace accordingly - the same way they do with alcohol.

With marijuana, I can tell you from experience from ingesting orally, it takes about 1/2 to 3/4 hr. to start to feel the effects. It peaks at about 1 1/2 hrs. ( 60 mgs.) . The challenge is to know when you've had enough. No one has ever overdosed on marijuana, but taking too much can cause paranoia and " greening out". If you take a good dose ( 60 mgs.) like I did the first time initially there was no effect, so I took another.....and another. This stuff , while less harmful than alcohol needs to treated with respect. Fortunately for me I was at home when I took the edible.
If the Tinly Beverage tastes so good, the inclination may be to keep right on drinking. A good knowledge of the product would be an asset to the consumer and the producer . Perhaps Tny could provide guidelines regarding consumption ( if they haven't already).

Liquid would be absorbed much faster than an edible would. But yes, I'm sure warning labels will be in place to educate customers and avoid a bad experience.
