I have read the many posts about AF promoting the stock and supporting the stock price. Stock mis-pricing and manipulation are a fairly common frustration for many small and mid cap company shareholders. When I represented minority shareholders for a junior medical devices company we dealt with it on a fairly regular basis. In my case there was some evidence of naked shorting of our stock and stock price depression by a potential purchaser of the company who wanted a dirt cheap buyout price. We, management, company lawyers and I, were unable to combat the price manipulation or to incite the regulators to launch an inquiry into what we say as illegal activities.
From my experience I would suggest that management and their lawyers will not be able to inflate the stock price or curb the manipulation through Public Relations, legal challenges or major advertising programs. My personal motto is "Fundamentals will always triumph over time". Thus, we need continued growth in cash flow and profits.
I am not at all negative about the Vancouver building purchase. I think it was almost a stroke of genius. More about that later...
