Ukraine in January 2017 purchased nuclear fuel for a total of $93.718 million.
According to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine during this period bought Russian nuclear fuel for $63.831 million, and that of Swedish production for $29.887 million.
Thus, the share of nuclear fuel purchases by Ukraine from TVEL (the Russian Federation) in January 2017 amounted to 68.1%, Westinghouse (Sweden) 31.9%.
As reported, Ukraine in 2016 bought nuclear fuel for $548.81 million, in particular Russian fuel for $386.782 million, and Swedish nuclear fuel worth $162.028 million.
