RE:TORSTAR

RE:TORSTAR
The one problem I see with Torstar selling various units and getting cash is that "CASH" seems to burn a hole in the trust's pocket and they do not have a good track record of fruitful acquisitions and the last thing they want to do is return it to shareholders, especially the "B's".
Time will tell ,Atkinson Principles are certainly a huge problem in today's world for this company.  I don't forsee them going away anytime soon ; therefore burdening Torstar with an albatross iimpossible to shake.  Watsa is the man for the job of takeover and turnaround but my sense is that he is moving on and is fed up with the antics of the Family Trust.
Torstar should take a page from the Book of Bombardier and jump on the corporate welfare train.................it has always served the Beaudoin family well for decades...........but alas that does not help the non voting shereholders (those pesky varmits)

just my two cents
