Talk about slow mine devlopment in the arctic..The area around Rankin Inlet was first surveied by the Tyreel brothers in 1880, under the Canadian Geographic Survey Expedition. it is only now that Anigo Eagle is pumping over a Billion $'s into the Melidine Lake gold project located just 28 kilometers outside of Rankin Inlet.....
