Sale! Sale! Sale! It's been a while since I last saw the price of MND this low. It's much like when you go to Canadian Tire to buy that set of socket wrenches. You have an option, do you buy when they have the 70% off sale, or buy when you actually need socket wrenches and you have to pay full price. I know I'm always choked when I need tools and I have to pay full price, knowing full well that it will be 70% off within the next couple of weeks...
So here we are with MND, and if I didn't read the transcript from the last conference call I'd swear by the way the sell off has been going this past month that the s.p. is heading to less than a dime soon...However, I did notice that near the end of the call Mark Sander (CEO) mentioned the words "next round of acquisitions." I'm confident that management is fully aware that the LOM (life of mine) of the properties will need to be replaced in a few years, so they must have been looking at new mines to acquire in the near term.
Anyways, this is the reason why I'm hoping I'll be able to pick up a few thousand shares more before the sale ends in a couple of weeks. Just like the socket wrenches, it's nice to have around an extra set just in case.
