Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:An email to Bill Blair MP Scarborough Dear Prof,

First, you are writting to the wrong government official.  Financial reports are reviewed by TSX and APH, WEED, etc statements have all been accepted as exact and appropriate.

Second, (quote)
"  But these accounting standards, MEANT FOR COMPANIES THAT CAN SELL THE ENTIRETY IF THEIR HARVEST INTO A FUTURES MARKET (which cannabis does not have) ".......

If you think there is no market in the future for their inventory, you have been smoking grass instead of weed..

At the moment, they have a hard time just keeping up with the demand from 130,000 + patients. With the recreational demand in late fall, LP's will not be able to fill all the orders coming in. A futures market is not required to calculate the future profits !
