Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:FINANCIAL POST ON BIOLOGICAL ASSETSQUOTE :

"  I would also see risk in having 5Qs of inventory that has a shelf life of less than a year. "

From my research in the US market, "edible" use of marijuana has so far surpassed the smoking use.  WEED is converting plants to oil for edible use and may have converted to much inventory to oil for future recreational use. If that was the case, there would now be a shortage in the selection for smoking use.

The advantage however is that oil has a longer shelf life than bud inventory.

In any case, I've made 286% with Canopy Growth so far and as with any investment the reward goes along with the risk involved.
