RE:A little advice to the longsI completely agree multiple 2. Another strategy to fight the shorts is if long investors put "sell at limit" orders in for significantly higher than the current price (at least a dollar or more). Depending who your account is with may limit you as to how high you can sell, and also DO NOT post all of your shares just in case the stock skyrockets and you end up holding an empty bag of shares :). I recommend posting just a small percentage of your shares for sale in this way. "Worst" case, the price rockets and you end up with significant profits while also maintaining your core position, and the shorts well...lose their shorts!
