Revisiting - satellite potential 1 km east of Orenada 2Now that results are looking really good for Orenada 4.
Orenada 4 is looking like it has potential for open pit mining down to 250m depth (immediately below roughly 30 metres of overburden).
Orenada 4 is at least 700m long, but likely to fall into the 1000 - 1200m range.
Orenada 2 is looking like a satellite deposit of Orenada 4. Orenada 2 is at least 300m in length, but likely to end up in the 300 - 600m range.
As I have posted about in the past, there is an area 1 km east of Orenada 2 (along the Cadillac Break) that has a chance to be a second satellite deposit for Orenada 4. It gives me the impression that it could be another Orenada 2 or a mini Orenada 2.
The Cadillac Break is 150 -200m wide in this area. Alexandria sank a single hole (AAX-07-09) in 2007.
This single hole hit 4 bodies of mineralization - likely 4 vertical veins.
Orenada 4 has stacked high-grade gold veins going down, surrounded by disseminated low-grade bulk tonnage gold. Orenada 2 has a few veins, with also some disseminated low-grade bulk tonnage gold. Orenada 2 is very good in some parts and decent in other parts - not quite as fruitful as Orenada 4, but still quite good.
The 2007 (single hole) results for this area located 1 km east of Orenada 2, and classified into zones/veins by me, as follows: Subparallel Zone 1: * 6.69 g/t Au over 1.0m (nearer to the surface) (which is widened to 1.54 g/t Au over 4.95m, once you add in lower grade gold ore within the zone) Subparallel zone 2: * 16.53 g/t Au over .60m (hit lower down in the drill hole sequence) (widened to 2.81 g/t Au over 3.84m) Subparallel Zone 3 (main zone): * 13.23 g/t Au over 1.00m (fattened to .95 g/t Au over 23.84m) Subparallel Zone 4: * 7.24 g/t Au over 1.00m (they don`t seem to show any gold around this vein, to fatten it – perhaps it will be fatter in other parts once more testing is done) It is possible that all of these zones/veins start nearer to the surface and go down to meaningful depth.
This is only 1 single hole, thus it is impossible to know how well it continues in terms of length. However, there seems to be an area of (at least) 400m length to test.
Again, from the old 2007 map, you can see this (1 km east, AAX-07-9) location, along the Cadillac Break, relative to Orenada 4 and Orenada 2:
