RE:RE:RE:Is the pump generic ?
I don't follow CTSO but from their website reads like no special pump is required.
CytoSorb® is compatible with standard hemodialysis machines, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) machines, heart-lung machines, most extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines, and other blood pumps found in most hospitals. Using a standard hemodialysis machine, blood is pumped out of the body, through the CytoSorb
***What I found intersting was there new so called and their statement on the following
CytoSorb-XL
In a head-to-head comparison with the leading endotoxin adsorber, Toraymyxin™ (Toray, Japan), CytoSorb-XL matched the level of endotoxin reduction in an in vitro plasma recirculation system on a comparable volume basis. CytoSorb-XL is expected to eliminate the need for stand-alone endotoxin specific filters by offering superior performance in the removal of not just endotoxin, but a much broader array of inflammatory mediators that drive uncontrolled deadly inflammation, organ failure, and death in sepsis.
Where, when and how they suddenly shoot this one out I have no clue. No mention of where these test took place and suppervised by whom.
