Exeter acquisition - great deal FYI

Exeter acquisition - great deal FYICaspiche is a world class gold deposit.  The problem Exeter had was their PFS study done years ago had a capex of over a billion.  No junior can fund that unless you're Osisko and the gold price is skyrocketing but back in 2012, the gold price was getting hammered off the $1,900 top.  So at the time, gold mining became a low CAPEX with smaller scale mines became the trend.  Hence XRC was left in the dust.  Now considering how much Goldcorp paid, XRC probably still got ripped off.

As for Goldcorp, they are now teamed up with Kinross and Barrick to develop that whole gold belt in Chile with the purpose of cost savings, shared costs & low CAPEX.  So this is a phenomenal deal for Goldcorp.  We are seeing a lot of JV's in the sector now.  The reason why G is falling is cause that's what happens to stocks to acquire other companies.  The market punishes them for awhile.
