RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Note to Recent Sellers...Interesting artcle about the bee-venom peptide, apamin. Just a clarification about the protease-resistance. Apamin is a cyclic peptide, whereas Transcendpep is a linear peptide. The authors comment that the cyclic structure of apamin is resistant to protease degradation, whereas the linear peptides are not. This only refers to the BBB shuttle peptide, not the neurotherapeutic. It just means that the apamin portion of the molecule would be less susceptible to degradation than would be a linear BBB shuttle peptide like Transcendpep. The protease resistance of the rest of the "cargo" wouldn't be affected.
