Up there for thinking. You are right on about the benefits of merging. Bigger companies can borrow money a little bit cheaper and you obviously get economies of scale.
It could rid us of the wasteful AXY habit of having too many joint ventures. The project has to then support 2 corporate overhead expenses. It is much better to have a good size project and own 100% of it.
The new company should keep all the AXY technical people and fire most other AXY management.
