RE:RE:RE:SHORTING IS INSANE ON THE VENTURE AND TSX THESE DAYS!!!!!! Sell stops yes, but the wise investor will not look at his stock daily. Looking at your investments or portfolio should only be done on a quarterly basis. 

Shorts come in at the top of the trend cycle and exit at the bottom. The cycle will usually take place irregardless , the shorts simply take advantage of it, that's all. 

Remember, there has to be enough holders willing to lend there stock out to the shorts in the first place. And why does that take place? Either the stock has some current issues that need to be resolved or the stock is simply "overbought".

In FGD's case ....it is a little of both. Or should I say a "lot" of both.
