Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Case in point; People are idiotsAsking the question how you think our stock price is going to be effected by the USA DROPPING 50+ BOMBS IN SYRIA AND THE RUSSIANS NOT BEING HAPPY ABOUT IT apparently results in a 1-star rating.

For those of you who are new, or stubborn, the market does not like uncertainty... you better believe what happened moments ago is a cause for concern. I am not telling everyone to panic sell. APH is a great company... but world events like this usually have a negative effect to 'most' companies.

I made the mistake in 2009 stubbornly holding onto a company at $10.50 a share only to watch it go down all the way to 70 cents within only a few months. There was nothing wrong with the company (the whole market took a dump), but a world event caused the shares of a company I owned to be next to worthless.

Protect your portfolio in times of uncertainty, period. I'll be watching APH's opening and base my decision afterward.
